Ben Rubin and Mark Hansen’s Movable Type in the lobby of The New York Times building uses statistics and algorithms to show the day’s newspaper in patterns on these tiny screens. Rubin has been commissioned to do a technology-based, Shakespeare-inspired piece that will be installed in the Public Theater this year.
